Hi is it possible to have an custom operator add rows to an table?

i want to split an field with comes with an delimiter (can be any column, that is why i don't want to fix it in the ad hoc source) an instead of adding more columns i want to split it into each its own row and delete the orginal one. But in the custom operator way it does not seem to have an option to add rows.

Since the adhoc source is dynamic i can't predict which column i need to split until i load the data.

How can i make this work?
