Kubernetes POD retention

Good afternoon everyone.

Is there a way for me to retain pods that has been killed off in the element so I can see what the reason was for the pods to be removed. Not having any visibility on past pods has been a challenge since the driver removes all data for pods that has been killed and re-created. This is also data that had trending enabled.

I am using the Kubernetes Manager Protocol version 1.2.2.11

Hi Johannes,

Thanks for your suggestion. We may add a table to record the previously removed POD and the reason (if any is reported via the API). Further validation could be required to confirm that capturing and storing the needed information for diagnostic purposes is possible.

We can implement this change under an active support and maintenance contract, so could you please contact your designated TAM (Technical Account Manager) to discuss the details of this improvement?
