Hi all, I have a need to link a shape to multiple parameters. And show the alarm of the highest severity when each of the parameters are alarmed. The parameters can be either standalone or in a table. I'm sure others have faced the same situation - how have you addressed this in Visio?
The approach I'm aware of is to layer the same shape upon each other. So if there are 2 parameters:
- Have two identical shapes layered upon each other
- Have one shape is linked to one parameter and the other linked to the 2nd parameter
- Know which shape is linked to the parameter with the higher severity and ensure that it layered on top.
I would like to find out other ways of solving this, as the method above can be tricky to update.
Hi Bing,
I believe you can use Linking a shape to a calculation involving multiple parameters | DataMiner Docs for that.
Something like the below:
ParametersSummary -> Max|6/97148:176|6/97149:176|6/97150:176|ALARM
Kind Regards,
