Hi,

I have a problem starting DataMiner. It starts very slowly and stops at 99%. I see such errors in the logs. Could you please suggest something?

BR,

Adrian

Hey Adrian,

Going by the logging it seems that the system is trying to process offload files. These files contain data that was generate when the DMA was running but the Database was down. Startup will be blocked until these are completely processed.

You can check these C:\Skyline DataMiner\Offload, the files there should not be bigger than a couple of kilobytes. If you search in the SLDBConnection.txt you should see loglines saying things like “replaying jobs. Handled x jobs in y seconds.”

There are 2 options you can take:

Either wait patiently for the system to ingest all the data

Or stop the dma, clean out the C:\Skyline DataMiner\Offload folder and start the dma again.

Should this not help please contact Techsupport to have a closer look at the system.
