to add anoter DMA from another Network into an existing DMS I need to change the DMS from a IP based one to a Hostname based one.
How would I best go about this?
Can I just shut down all the DMA and replace the IP with the Hostname in the config Files? If so, which config Files need to be changed?

Hi Robert,
In this specific case I don’t think you need to change configuration files, connecting new agent should be done through Cube, details on how to do it can be found here. Can you please confirm that changing the configuration is required?
If it is, you will need to enter DMA’s server IP/hostname in following files:
- C:\Skyline DataMiner\DMS.xml
- C:\Skyline DataMiner\SLCloud.xml
Before editing these files, DMA needs to be stopped.
Note that communication between networks will have to be configured separately from DataMiner.
