I have one test HLS live stream. I have to set up a automation script, if any Audio/Video fails during transition, Alarm get triggered. Could anyone help to do this set up?
.mp4 OR Live stream ----------> Dataminer -----------> Automation ------------> A/V Fail ----------> Triggered the alarm.
Hi Ben,
Thanks for prompt response and give us the clarity on this.
We use AWS media services for ingestion the video and signal processing.
Is this possible to integrated AWS media services with Dataminer.
My Set up is for Live Streaming-
AWS Media Live-----> AWS Media Packager----> AWS CloudFront
Apart from this, we use AWS Cloudwatch to access the logs and wanted to integrate these services with Dataminer.
Could you please help me on this?
Hi Punit - not sure if I get the question correctly, but if I'm right you are asking how DataMiner can be used to determine if there are any audio/video issues, and trigger an alarm for that? In that case, the answer is that you cannot. DataMiner is a data collection and processing platform, so you would need a third party solution that ingests your video service and performs the desired quality checks. These are typically solutions from companies such as Home - Bridge Technologies , TAG Video Systems – Quality of Service Monitoring Platform (tagvs.com) , and many others that DataMiner is integrated with. These products check the quality and report back to DataMiner.
