Can we load the Image as a background in the dashboard. For example can i load a world map as a background image and on the top of it can we make another piechart in a location to indicate the number of services in a location.
Hi
I love the idea of being able to position your components anywhere on your dashboard, not bound to a grid!
However, positioning them based on location positions is next level.
We can achieve something that is functionally very close though, if we only look at the use case: see a pie chart for a specific location.
With the maps component, you could create your own custom markers for every location (eg a circle with the total amount of services) and you could feed the selection of your selected marker as a feed in a filter of a query. That query can in turn be consumed by a pie chart underneath the maps visualization. The end result would be a dashboard with a map that contains all locations, that will show a pie chart for the location you click on.
Within Low-code apps we can go even a bit further, by showing the pie chart in a popup when clicking a location.
Hi Ashwini.
I don't believe there's an easy way to do this. Depending on your exact requirements and what you're trying to achieve, it might be better to look at our Visio integration: Visio drawings | DataMiner Docs
