DataMiner Feature Release version 10.6.2 is almost here, bringing a wide range of improvements, new features, and security updates. At the same time, several legacy features were retired at the end of 2025, and support for DataMiner 10.2 is now approaching its end. Read on to learn what this means for your setup.
As of February 27, 2026, DataMiner 10.2 will no longer be supported. From that point onward, no further updates will be provided, including bug fixes, security patches, or new features. Technical support for DataMiner Systems running version 10.2 will also cease. If your system is still running DataMiner 10.2, we strongly recommend upgrading to a supported version to benefit from the latest features, improvements, and security updates.

The following modules were retired in DataMiner at the end of 2025:
- The legacy Ticketing app is no longer available. A new, extensible solution based on the Low-Code Apps and DOM framework is currently under development. More updates will follow.
- The Annotations module in DataMiner Cube has been removed as of DataMiner 10.6.0/10.6.1.
In addition, when a DataMiner functionality or third-party software reaches End of Support, it will no longer be updated or supported. The following components have reached this phase:
- MySQL is no longer supported as a local database option. While existing features will continue to function, new features will require a supported storage setup. We recommend switching to STaaS.
- The Asset Manager module in DataMiner Cube has been retired. A replacement is currently in development, though it will not be a direct one-to-one replacement.
Lastly, the pivot table and group components in Dashboards and Low-Code Apps have reached the End of Engineering phase. This means they will no longer be updated but are currently still supported. The two components can only be accessed by using the showAdvancedSettings=true URL option. Numerous alternative visualization options are available.
End of Support as of DataMiner 10.7 (Q4 2026)
As of DataMiner version 10.7, the following features will no longer be supported:
- The legacy Reporter & Dashboards module will be retired and replaced in DataMiner 10.7.x.
- Setups where each DMA has its own Cassandra database will no longer be supported. We recommend switching to STaaS instead.
- Elasticsearch 6.8 (or lower) is no longer supported by Elastic, and as a result, DataMiner will phase out support for it as well. We recommend transitioning to STaaS for optimal performance.
