What is the procedure to change the ClientSettings.json?

Hi Dojo,

I'm evaluating the option of enabling caching for certain parameters of a table, as described in ClientSettings.json - Configuring caching of specific table parameters | DataMiner Docs.

To enable this, can I simply edit and save the file, or is it also necessary to restart the agent?

Kind regards,

hi Catarina,

A restart of the agent should not be necessary, but like mentioned in the note in the docs, the sync in the cluster is.

'After you update this setting, force a synchronization of the ClientSettings.json file in the DataMiner System. See Forcing synchronization of a file with the DMS.'
