Upgrade with cassandra cluster

Hi everyone,

We have a two-agent Dataminer cluster, which previously had the database stored on each agent. However, a while ago we migrated to a three-server Cassandra cluster and also enabled a three-server OpenSearch cluster. If we include the two Dataminer agents, we have a total of eight servers.

This Dataminer cluster is currently running version 10.4.0, and we plan to upgrade to version 10.5.0. However, we would like to know if we will encounter any errors or observations because the database and indexing modules are located on different servers.

Many thanks

Hi Isabel,

You shouldn't have any errors or critical events after upgrading DataMiner. Note that DataMiner upgrade will only affect to your two DMAs. Cassandra and OpenSearch will not be modified or affected.

Also note that DataMiner will connect by itself with your databases when it start up.

Hope it helps you!

Regards.
