Recently bound our servers to the domain, was able to log in with Local and Domain Users. Configured failover and after restarting Dataminer services getting
|SLDataMiner.exe|5308|CDataMiner::GetInfoFunc|INF|-1|Unsuccessfull connection attempt from <not authenticated>. This user is member of an unknown group.(hr = 0x80040277)
And no longer able to log in, Primary Dataminer just shows that it is starting up with no progress percentage.
Dataminer 9.5 CU12 with HF RN21716. Unable to upgrade due to customized software set.

I am having exactly the same issue, but this is on DataMiner 9.6 CU6.
I get the starting up message ( it has been like this for 5 days now):
And SLDataMiner log has nothing but that error:
Yeah, I have to do the same. I’m not sure what causes this issue.

I’ve been able to workaround this by switching my offline agent to online and then I’m able to log in. It’s not really a solution but can help you access the system.
