When a driver subscribe to a wildcard trap OID for example

1.3.6.1.4.1.5299.15.29.0.*

In case of trap inform reception, does the Dataminer acknowledge only traps for the specified binding or acknowledge any trap received from the device ?

Hi Bernard,

Any SNMP inform message from the device that is received by DataMiner will be acknowledged. The OID is used to distribute the information to the correct parameter of the element.

Quick test below of an inform message that is sent to DataMiner and not listed into a connector.
