Hi All
When exporting trend information to CSV, the CSV output is different from the graph status if a range of days or a short time is specified.
I work around this problem by specifying Everything, is this behavior a bug?
I'm using 10.2.5.0,10.2.6.0.
Thanks in advance for your support.
Hi Yuki,
Thank you for your question.
From the screenshots you shared,
1st CSV: All trend data
When the "Everything" selection is made, it will show the real time as well as average trend data points for the specified time period.
In your CSV, there is only Average trend data available.
This is also evident from the timestamps of the data that was exported (5 mins intervals).
2nd CSV: Real-time trend data
There is no data exported as Real-time trend data is typically retained only for 24-48 hours depending on Time to Live settings.
This setting is configured/visible in System Center > System Settings > Time to Live.
Once this 24 or 48 hours have elapsed, the Real-time trend data will be removed from the database.
The average trend data is collected separately and will be retained until its respective Time to Live.
This is why there is no data when you export Real-time trending for the same period.
I hope this clarifies your query.
This is an expected behavior as only the Average trend data is available for the specified time range.
