Poll device via Proxy

Hi Dojo,

I would like to monitor a series of new devices (all of the same type) on my DataMiner agent. Unfortunately, these elements require a proxy connection. What are my options for collecting the data?

I noticed in our internal documentation that the HTTP connector sessions supports a ‘Proxy’ tag. Should I modify the connector to add this tag to each session?

Hi Frederic, did you consider using windows proxy?
Please note that windows proxy setting is linked to user, and dataminer processes execute under SYSTEM user.

Hi Frederic,
I've implemented this tag some time ago in some connectors, so it might be useful for you to take a look at them as examples maybe.

One is the Skyline Universal Weather connector (version 1.0.1.5), where I added the Proxy tag you mentioned.

I also added proxy support to another connector, Generic HTTP Query (version 2.0.0.4) — although this one establishes the connection via a QAction and follows a slightly different approach.
