Opensearch on Windows Server 2022

Hi,

we have installed Opensearch on Windows Server 2022, it's reachable from any client:

Is there more configuration to be done? Or just add it to Dataminer?
Also I need to run "opensearch-windows-install.bat, so Opensearch is running. Is it possible to add it as a service?

Hi Felix,

thanks for your help, if I do this like this I get an error to start it. I have now removed it and create the service with nssm. This is really easy and the service will be created and is able to run!

But still not sure if I need to adjust more settings in OpenSearch or if I can just connect it to Dataminer.

Hello Stefan,
nice to hear that it worked with nssm.
I had deleted my comment where I mentioned the SC command, as it was not working.
Hopefully the Skyline experts can say if further changes are needed.
In our case, we only exchanged the certificates and changed passwords and then used the Skyline migration tool.
