Hi community,

We are considering to use the ILogHelper store some custom logs in ElasticSearch. However, I was not able to find the TTL for such records in the documentation.

Does anyone know what the default TTL is and whether (and how) can we change it (if needed)?

Documentation: https://docs.dataminer.services/develop/api/types/Skyline.DataMiner.Net.LogHelpers.ILogHelper.html

Kind regards,

Hi community,

After conducting internal evaluations, we have determined that the default TTL for ILogHelper records is set to 5 years. Depending on the use case, this duration may be deemed excessive. At present, there is no user-friendly method to modify this value. However, if the need arises, we are able to update the TTL value.

Regards,
