Is a DMS reboot necessary when changing the real-time TTL with Cube?

Hi Dojo Community,

I updated with Cube the default value for real-time trending from 1 week to 2 weeks.
I did it few weeks ago but the value after 1 week in my graphs are still 5-Minute records.
I checked the DBMAINTENANCEDMS.xml file and the configuration is correct.

Do I have to restart the DMS to apply this value even if it's updated via Cube?

Thanks

Hi Yvan,
A restart should indeed not be needed when making changes via Cube as Arunkrishna mentioned.
Is the 'Show most detailed data' option enabled on the trend graph (right click on the graph > Show most detailed data)?
If this is not enabled, Cube will do client-side averaging and depending on your zoom level, you might see average data (i.e. the 5-min records you're referring to).
If you then look at week to date, you will see average data, but when zooming in, it will eventually change to showing realtime data.

If you enable this option, you will always see the available realtime data regardless of the zoom level.
