How alarm if value does not correspond to baseline value?

Hello everyone,

I have an alarm template that monitors a value of type Discrete and contains text as a baseline. I want a min hi alarm if the value no longer corresponds to the baseline value (not equal). What do I need to enter in the alarm template?

Hi Christoph,

I suggest that you enter all possible discrete options as a min high alarm.

Consider this example, I have a toggle button with two possible discrete values (off/on). The alarm template is as follows:

Dataminer will produce a MIN HI alarm for when the value does not equal the baseline.

Note a Normal alarm value even though we have set "ON" to MIN HI in the alarm template:
