Hi,

Recently we did delete the backup agents in the cluster. That causes the big impact in our production setup. We did experience the following issues

  1. The frequent disconnection on the main agents
  2. Profile.xml sync issue across the main agents
  3. views.xml sync issue
  4. Cassandra database still have two nodes connected, i.e. local node and remote backup node which was removed
  5. Results, DMA didn't come up post restart

I could not find the proper guidelines document in the Help section. Would it possible to have details guidelines to delete/disable the backup agents from the cluster.

Hi Jeyaram,

Instructions to disable/delete a DM failover pair are available in the DataMiner help. Could this help you?
