We have several DMAs which we´d like to configure as a DMS with a shared Cassandra DB - however we´re uncertain what the throughput of one of our DMAs towards the DB would be. Is there a way to measure the amount of data the DMA writes on its current/local DB?

Hi Johannes,
The throughput of data to a database has a number of variables that are tied to the DataMiner Agent itself. i.e. Number of Elements / Types of elements / number of alarms per hour/day / number of parameters trended, there are more. It is not possible to give a generic data throughput figure that would be accurate enough for all deployments.
The best approach would be to take advantage of the trending function in DataMiner using the Microsoft platform protocol to view the disk I/O.
From a trend over several days (the more data the better) You can ascertain a benchmark for the throughput from here. See below:
