As the 2.0.2.x specifically mentions 8.40 and 8.50

The new connector has been tested and released on RRCS version 8.8.RR1.
As the firmware versions should be backwards compatible, it should also work for the 8.9 and beyond.
On an additional note, the backend API has been based on top of an 8.5 version structure. So technically the connector should also work for an 8.5 system, but it wasn't able to confirm this in a real life environment.
And does that connector support RRCS 8.9 RR1?
