hi,

I noticed that the password in my  db.xml is replaced by an guid, where is the password being stored?

Hi Gerwin,

If I'm not mistaken, the password is stored somewhere encrypted within DataMiner, so you won't be able to access it directly anymore. When you enter a new password in plain text, DataMiner will automatically encrypt it during startup and replace it with a GUID again in the db.xml.
