Hi,

Is it possible to install DataMiner, Cassandra and OpenSearch on the same server for the purpose of running DataMiner Community Edition?

If yes, then what is the proper procedure for installing Cassandra and OpenSearch?

Are they both embedded in the DataMiner installer or do they need to be deployed separately?

Hi Laszlo, just wanted to add to this, if you use the virtual disk image, you can select local storage, which will automatically provision a WSL Ubuntu 22.04 environment with Cassandra and OpenSearch already installed. This makes it super convenient to get started without needing to configure everything manually.
