Hi All

probably a straightforward question here.

when using cube sides and limiting tab views on each side to say 10.

does that use less processing power/increase client speed instead of having say 20 tabs open on one side?

thanks

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

Yes, having more cards (tabs) open in DataMiner Cube generally means that more items (elements, services, etc.) are being subscribed to, which can result in higher resource usage. If you’re experiencing performance issues, it’s a good practice to limit the number of open tabs, as each tab may consume additional resources.
For a definitive answer on performance optimization, I recommend opening a ticket with Skyline support. Your issue might already be addressed in a recent DataMiner version, or it could be related to specific configurations such as Visio files or alarm filters that may need adjustment.

I hope this helps! 😊
