Clustering of DNMA notice alarm

Hello All,

We are seeing this notice message for a newly built DNMA agent which was clustered yesterday with no elements or data:

Automatic Incident tracking has reached the maximum allowed event rate for <machine name>

Could someone let me know what this message refers to and is there anything I need to do to fix this issue?

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi Ryan,

This means that the failsafe build into the analytics automatic incident tracking was triggered. To make sure we don’t send too many events there is a configurable amount of events per second that can be send (system settings -> analytics config -> automatic incident tracking -> maximum group events rate). It does mean that events can be delayed or dropped once this value is reached. So it is not really an issue.

Automatic Incident Tracking – DataMiner Dojo is a link to our blogpost to have a first feeling what the automatic incident tracking feature is about.
