Changing the units on Spectrum Analyzer

Hi Community,

I ran into an issue when trying to change the units in the spectrum analyzer from dBm to dBmV. I followed the documentation and in there it said to implement 64024 and 64025 parameters to support he changing units functionality, but still, I cannot change the units. On the settings page, they change but on the actual spectrum there is no changes, also, I noticed that in information events, it is still being logged as dBm. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Amar,

If you mean changing the units of the spectrum graph itself, this is actually a separate setting in the ribbon menu under the "view" tab.

This differs from the units that Dataminer uses to send to the actual device.

Thanks for help, it solved the issue. Just to clarify, I still need the mentioned parameters for this feature?

Amar, I don’t think you’ll need these parameters unless you want to change the units of what you are actually sending to the device.
