When an alarm template is assigned to a DVE, and one of its parameters alarms, the 'parameter description' column in the alarm console will contain the name of the parameter, the name of the table it originates from (between brackets) + its display key.
As the source of the alarm is the DVE itself, there is often no real added value to display the table name + key. Is there any way to omit these parts from the description?
In the example below, we would then see 'Group 3' as parameter description.
Thanks!
Hi Ruben,
I agree this is redundant data in general. You can create a task on Collaboration and sent it to Create.Ux, at first sight this looks like a DataMiner Cube client task.
Some remarks that might help:
- The Monitoring/Dashboards app does not show the table index for those alarms.
- In Cube there is also a column 'Parameter' (next to the default 'Parameter Description') which shows the Parameter Description without the table key (but this applies to all alarms then of course, so also for the regular table alarms where you would probably want to see the table key)
Thanks, Pieter. Will do.
