DMA version: 10.4 CU3
I was taking the full backup of the DMA using the Skyline TaskBar utility.
The full backup package dated 2/9/2024 was generated under the folder “C:\Skyline DataMiner Backups\MY_DMAID\“.
However, when I tried to check the folder “C:\Skyline DataMiner\Backup“, I did not find any backup logging dated 2/9/2024 as shown below.
The logging dated 30/8 was when I took the backup using the DMA Cube.
I am not sure if there was changes in DMA version 10.4v compared to 10.2v where we should have seen the backup logging in “C:\Skyline DataMiner\Backup” either taking the backup from the DMA Cube or the Skyline TaskBar utility.
Can someone please help to verify for it?

Hi Min,
I can confirm that the Skyline Taskbar Utility does not create a logfile while taking the backup. The same backup logic is being hosted by the Taskbar Utility process itself, but that one does not pick up the log events from the logic and as such does not write them to a log file.
If the backup is being triggered by Cube or via a Schedule, another process is hosting the same logic and that one does pick up on the log events and writes them in C:\Skyline DataMiner\Backup\Backup_{0:yyyy-MM-dd_HH-mm-ss}.log.txt
