Are opened alarm templates not saved in “saved” workspaces?

Hello and happy new year to you all,

I created a workspace based on a Master-Top layout and two open cards

  • An element
  • its alarm template

However when I reopen the workspace, the alarm template is not being opened. Are opened alarm templates not saved in "saved" workspaces?

Hi Anderson,

I can confirm the behavior you describe. Seems like Templates (alarm, trend, ...) are not supported in the saved workspaces yet. More specifically, they are effectively saved in the workspace, it's the loading that doesn't support them at the moment.

Do you have more details on why it is important for you to have templates saved into workspaces?

thanks for the information.

Generally, named/saved workspaces save me time when showing adjustments to colleagues. Click on the named workspace and voila! all the cards are loaded. I have been working lately on alarm templates and would like to show changes to colleagues (in both the alam templates and an affected element) without having to manually open everything, so I wondered why the templates are not being loaded when saved together with the elements to a named workspace.
