Hello everyone,
a customer has asked me to enable the LegacyAnnotations soft-launch-option, so that they can copy the information from there to notes.
They are running DataMiner 10.4.0.0-15230-CU10.
However after enabling the option the link is now available in the Elements again, but opening it we only get the message "Oops, it looks like the app you want to use is not available." in red text.
Is there something else that needs to be done to enable annotations again?
Or is there some other way to copy the information over to notes/export it?
Best Regards,
Robert
Hi Robert,
Just to make sure you followed all the needed steps:
1) Edit the "C:\Skyline DataMiner\SoftLaunchOptions.xml" file and add a line inside the <SLNet> parent tag with the needed Feature Key LegacyAnnotations as true, something like:
<LegacyAnnotations>true</LegacyAnnotations>
2) Using CMD as Administrator run C:\Skyline DataMiner\Tools\ConfigureIIS.bat
3) Finally A restart of the Dataminer agent is needed to activate the changes
Note that in the case of a cluster of DataMiner Agents, every DataMiner Agent in the cluster will need to be restarted.
Please check Overview of soft-launch options | DataMiner Docs and Activating soft-launch options | DataMiner Docs for more information related to soft-launch.
Hello Joaquim,
I did not do the ConfigureIIS.
I will try that in the next maintenance window next week.
Best Regards,
Robert
