We had a report that an alarm filter might not be working as expected and we need to understand more about how the alarm filter works as it seems the alarm filter is not working as expected.
We don't know if this is a correct approach but below filter ONLY works when we put the first condition to be always true. Without the first condition with the * wild card expression, the results we get are very random. Sometimes we get different results for the same filter.
Could this be a bug from the system? It would be great to understand how the alarm filter is supposed to work.

Although it was originally intended to work only with Visio Session variables, other Visio placeholders seem to resolved as well in your alarm filter values (when using regex or wildcard filtering).
The behavior you describe seems very strange to me and will require more detailed investigation. Can you create a support ticket for it please?
Hi Again, this has been followed with task 259349 and has been completed. Cube version 10.5.4 has a fix for this issue. Please let us know if this fix was effective for you. Thx
