SHM Broadcast GmbH was one of the first companies to push DataMiner Solutions to the market. Since day one, we are consulting, designing, and deploying DataMiner architecture solutions to customers in the areas of signal contribution, distribution, playout, control and monitoring (broadcast, satellite, cable and telco).
SHM Broadcast GmbH was founded in 2001 in Germany (Munich area). Already at the time of its foundation, SHM Broadcast also focused on the distribution of software-driven solutions. Even though good sales could still be achieved with hardware, it was already clear at that time that the future belonged to software-based solutions. SHM Broadcast was proved right.
DataMiner is probably one of the most successful software-based solutions that have conquered the broadcast market. Alongside other market-leading manufacturers, such as Appear, Bridge Technologies, MediaKind, Rohde & Schwarz, Arista, Netinsight and many more, SHM Broadcast continues to push new technologies in the areas of DVB, distribution, contribution, monitoring/control, and IPTV/Streaming.

SHM Broadcast was one of the first resellers to establish DataMiner in the German market. We offer our customers the full range of services needed to deploy a DataMiner Solution. This includes consulting and design as well as the customization and implementation of DataMiner at the customer´s site. Afterward, we continue to serve our customers with technical support and enhancements of projects. We hold all certificates as well as the in-house competencies to program scripts or drivers for DataMiner Solutions.
Initiatives
SHM Broadcast supports Skyline Communications with regular customer meetings and events. We represent our vendors on international and national trade shows as well as on industry-specific conferences and our own open-house events.
ANGA COM, hosted in Germany, is Europe's leading congress trade show for broadband, television and online.
