In a 2nd step DataMiner typically uses that state and checks the media edge devices and the network directly to double check if the state Video iPath reports matches with reality. This is an essential principle for real-time media flow tracking.

Current Services: shows all active services (i.e. crosspoints) Video iPath has currently established including source, destination, start time and end time. Such SDN controller crosspoint state is one of the data sources DataMiner uses for media flow tracking. DataMiner is always aware of the crosspoint state and compares that against reality (i.e. the actual status of the media flows in the network)
