Hi,

Is there a way to state a dependency with a minimum required version of connector to use with a certain version a function definition?

For example:

Connector’s version 1.0.0.1 does not implement functionality A, but version 1.0.0.2 does.

Is there a way to state that the connector’s minimum required version to use with the Function Definition is connector’s version 1.0.0.2?

Kind regards,

Hi Flavio,

As far as I know, there is no tag or place to add this and I wouldn’t add it to the driver help since probably there are multiple function files for the same driver at different customers.
It might be a good idea to add this as a Feature Suggestion so that a tag could be added to the function xml file and that dataminer would reject assigning an active function file to a protocol that isn’t compatible.

Hi Timothy,

Thank you for your feedback. I have created a new feature request:
