Does 10.4 installer support unattended installation?

Hi, I know that the deprecated 10.0 and 10.2 installers both uses .xml files to feed config for unattended installs. And from the online docs, the 10.5 and 10.6 both start to support config files in .json format for unattended installs. Is it correct that 10.4 supports the same .json format?

Hi Bing,

No, the original Dataminer 10.4 installer does not use the same JSON configuration format as the newer 10.5/10.6 configuration tool. There is also an important distinction between unattended installation and unattended configuration.

I checked the source history: the newer JSON reader was introduced with the PowerShell-to-WPF replacement tracked by 43591 - Dataminer Configurator tool. That RN lists 10.5.0 CU13, 10.6.0 CU1, and 10.6.1, not 10.4.

The current unattended installation documentation explicitly distinguishes configuration-only support from full unattended installation. The latter was added through 45554 - Dataminer installer Command line support.
