Hi All,
I would like to request assistance with the deployment of the Ticketing Std Solution from the Catalog (https://catalog.dataminer.services/details/c132decf-b918-4ee2-be25-1302f41e7705) to our Demo DMA. While other deployments are functioning as expected, this specific process is failing with the following details:
{
"errorMessage": "Unexpected exception occurred",
"exceptionMessage": "StatusCode: UnknownError, DebugMessage: A unknown exception occurred in CoreGateway: Installation of the package SLC-Ticketing-Package version 2.0.3 failed because something went wrong while running the install script: Error triggering entry point Skyline.DataMiner.Net.Automation.AutomationEntryPoint: EXIT: \"Exception encountered during installation: Installation of the package ObjectLinking.Install version 2.0.1 failed because something went wrong while running the install script: Error triggering entry point Skyline.DataMiner.Net.Automation.AutomationEntryPoint: EXIT: \"Exception encountered during installation: (Code: 0x80131500) Skyline.DataMiner.Automation.ScriptAbortException: Cannot install Object Linking solution. Please make sure you meet the prerequisites and try again.\r\n at Skyline.DataMiner.Automation.Engine.ExitFail(String reason)\r\n at Script.Install(IEngine engine, AppInstallContext context)\"\", DmaId: 119803"
}
Could you please investigate this issue and provide guidance on how to resolve it?
Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards.
We would like to inform you that we have identified the root cause of the issue.
During our investigation, we attempted to review the release notes; however, all available links are currently redirecting to 404 error pages, including the link to the GitHub repository.
By accessing older versions of the release notes, we were able to identify prerequisite information documented previously, which is not currently listed on the Catalog page.
Based on this information, we proceeded with the installation of the Standard Data Model Registration tool, which is referenced only in the documentation and not indicated as a prerequisite on the Catalog page.
We kindly request your attention to this matter and suggest reviewing and updating the documentation and Catalog page to ensure that all prerequisites are clearly listed and that the referenced links are accessible.
