Support life cycle update: DataMiner 10.1 no longer supported

DataMiner Feature Release version 10.5.2 is almost here, bringing an exciting array of improvements, new features, and security updates. However, at the end of 2024, some legacy features were retired, and now, as of the end of February, support for DataMiner 10.1 will officially come to an end. Read on to find out what this means for you!

As of February 28, 2025, DataMiner 10.1 will no longer be supported. This means no further software updates, including fixes, security patches, or new features, will be provided. Additionally, technical support for DataMiner Systems running version 10.1 will cease. If your system is still running this version, now is the perfect time to upgrade! Doing so will unlock a wealth of new features and improvements.

Additionally, the following modules have been retired as of the end of 2024:

  • Legacy Correlation Engine: Correlation rules created using the legacy System Display engine are now officially end of life. If you upgrade to a DataMiner 10.5 version, the VerifyNoLegacyCorrelation prerequisite check will automatically run to ensure no legacy Correlation rules remain on your DataMiner System. But not to worry—if any legacy rules are still relevant to your setup, you can rebuild them as regular Correlation rules.
  • Jobs app: The DataMiner Job Manager was previously already unsupported on systems using Storage as a Service (STaaS), and it has now reached end of life for all other setups as well. You can now use DataMiner Object Models (DOM) or the Low-Code Apps module to achieve the same functionality—and more!

Lastly, note that as of DataMiner 10.3.11, the Amazon Keyspaces Service on AWS is no longer supported as an alternative to a Cassandra Cluster setup. If you wish to continue using self-hosted storage, you will need to install a Cassandra Cluster database. Alternatively, consider using Storage as a Service (STaaS), which eliminates the need to manage your own storage databases while offering additional benefits.
