Bridtech probe alarm , the custom name in the full description IDX is not updated in the alarm ethernet alarms, even after the custom name in the ethernet available streams table has changed. Does the streamCustomName need to be updated somewhere else too for the change to take effect.

Which version of the connector are you using?
Normally, there is no other place to be changed, no. You only need to change it via the “Ethernet Available Streams” table and the connector and DataMiner should take care of the rest.
When updating the custom name on the “Ethernet Available Streams”, the connector takes care of updating the “Custom Name” column on the “Streams” table. Can you check if that one is properly updated?
Once that is done, DataMiner should take care of updating the display key on the “Ethernet Alarms” table. For this to properly happen, the “Ethernet Alarms” entry needs to have a proper ForeignKey to the “Streams” table defined. Is such ForeignKey properly filled in?
