5000 pull requests: You’re making DataMiner Docs better every day

5000 pull requests! So much has happened on DataMiner Docs in the three and a half years since we made the jump to GitHub. Each of these pull requests represents some change or addition to the DataMiner documentation, so can you imagine how much information has been added with 5000 of them? As Skyline’s Documentation team, we definitely want to celebrate this. 🍾

We’re continuously working on expanding and fine-tuning the DataMiner Docs, making it the go-to place for anything and everything related to DataMiner. But we haven’t made those 5000 pull requests on our own. We’re lucky to have a wide group of content experts who regularly step in with additions, suggestions, real-life use cases, and tutorials. Without them, the documentation wouldn’t be nearly as complete or as accurate.

And that’s not all. Some of those 5000 pull requests came from the DataMiner community itself—DataMiner users so familiar with the platform that they can spot a mistake or a missing detail from miles away. That’s the great thing about our GitHub setup: truly anyone can contribute. Never tried it before? Don’t worry, we’ve got an entire guide on how to get started right there in the DataMiner Docs.

Of course, we’re not planning to slow down now. Next stop: 10,000 pull requests.

Need a little extra motivation to start contributing too? Every single documentation contribution earns you DevOps Points! In 2025 alone, over 68,000 points have already been awarded for contributions to DataMiner Docs. Our community clearly isn’t sitting still.
