DataMiner Automated Tagging

Being part of DataMiner Augmented Operation, the screenshot shows a nice Automated Tagging example how DataMiner AI helps identifying certain network utilization patterns on a network switch. The example shows a network interface between a regular Cisco Nexus and another Cisco switch running in TAP aggregation mode. There is only traffic generated when a TAP session was initiated by DataMiner to record ST-2110 traffic on a Wireshark instance which could then be analyzed by the EBU LIST Tool.

DataMiner AI first identifies those change points and patterns automatically. In a 2nd step the operator can add a tag “TAP OFF” to this event and from now onwards DataMiner will automatically tag those events in the future and also the historical events – every operator will immediately see why such pattern exists on that ethernet interface and does not have to worry why network traffic went down.
