The Amphinicy Monica connector integrates the montior and control software suite of the same name, which provides a monitoring control solution for different types of instruments (e.g. BUC and switches). In this context, the Amphinicy Monica product is a monitor and control system that allows you to monitor and control instrument or measurement devices in satellite ground stations at the NOC (Network Operations Centre) and CPE (Customer Premises Equipment), providing operators with an overview of the whole system.

The initial version of the connector implements the instruments and parameter monitoring, as well as the active alarms. As such the connector’s structure is as follows.

USE CASE DETAILS

When initializing the connector for the first time, you need to enter your credentials (username & password) on the "General" page.

Optionally, you might want to access the "Poll Settings" sub-page and re-configure the preferred poll cycles for each identified session.

On the "Instruments Manager" page, you can find an overview of the instruments available in the product with their overall state and connection status.

Detailed information, such as parameter names and current values for each instrument is available on the "Instruments Details" page.

Active alarms can be monitored from the "Alarms" page, where you can also acknowledge and purge alarms.
