EVS Neuron – Network Attached Processor
EVS
The EVS Neuron is a media processing device that combines multiple functions hosted in a 1RU chassis:
- SDI <-> IP
- Video processing
- Audio processing
- Media firewall
Skyline has built a protocol that integrates with the EVS Neuron across all functions for monitoring and control. In addition, DataMiner can deploy and configure a blank EVS Neuron device when coupled with the IDP Solution.
The EVS Neuron device utilizes the latest technology to include NMOS discovery. All controls are made available through a comprehensive device integration.
USE CASE DETAILS
The General Settings page highlights key parameters for timing and active switch input.
On the NMOS page, you can enable or disable NMOS. When NMOS is enabled, this page allows you to configure a wide range of parameters.
Multiple parameters linked with PTP device control allow the EVS Neuron device to be accurately aligned with the environment clock timing.
Here’s an example of data manipulation using input and output streams on the Neuron device. It is possible to control stream redundancy from the same view.
