DataMiner rocks the cloud with support for Amazon Keyspaces and Amazon OpenSearch Service

Today’s cloud landscape offers a myriad of managed services to enhance and support your operations. The benefits of these services have not escaped us, which is why we are excited to announce that DataMiner is now fully compatible with two AWS-managed cloud storage services: Amazon Keyspaces and Amazon OpenSearch Service.

You can now benefit from the scalability and reliability of these services as the underlying storage layer for your DataMiner deployment. This allows you to enjoy DataMiner with all the bells and whistles that you know and love, with minimal worry about maintaining its storage needs.

We have added support for Amazon Keyspaces and Amazon OpenSearch Service to DataMiner with ease of use, scalability, and near-zero maintenance in mind. Using these managed services, you don’t need to worry about setting up, scaling out, or maintaining on-prem infrastructure to handle the data of your operations. Instead, the managed AWS services will take care of this for you.

The managed storage services offer advantages to the resiliency of your operation as well, as they more easily achieve higher levels of redundancy, and swiftly back up and restore your operational data.

In addition to the newly offered support for these managed cloud storage services, it is now possible to utilize a self-managed OpenSearch cluster as well. This can serve as an alternative for Elasticsearch 6.8. However, deploying a self-managed OpenSearch cluster requires the same level of maintenance as with Elasticsearch.

Being able to announce DataMiner’s compatibility with Amazon Keyspaces and Amazon OpenSearch Service has been a real treat! The ease of use and near-zero maintenance that goes hand in hand with these services make them an excellent choice for any operation that favors flexibility in its data storage. We can’t wait to see what you build with these new capabilities!
